Cracker Expected from Sundowns and Pirates Tonight

Cyril Skosana & Tshepo Ntsoelengoe

Teko Modise will not be wearing his usual black and
white tonight and is expected to be problematic
for his former side.
Tonight South Africans will be treated to a top of the log clash between two giants, Pretoria's Mamelodi Sundowns and Johannesburg's Orlando Pirates.

Pirates will be hosting 'Downs just after they managed to snatch an away victory against Mpumalanga Black Aces. Meanwhile the Mamelodi kings will be at their highest morale when they head to Orlando Stadium after a home win against Platinum Stars this past Sunday.

However Mamelodi Sundowns fans are excited as Teko "navigator" Modise will be making his debut against his former team. Ezimnyama ngenkani (Pirates) lost Modise after a transfer estimated at R18 million.

Andile Jali will be feeling the pressure too after Bafana Bafana scooped a 2-0 victory against the Kenya side on Wednesday. He will be expected to put an eye on the navigator of Sundowns.

The fans of Ezikamagebhula, another of Pirates' nicknames, will be expecting a win against the Pretoria side in securing their top spot. That will have to be done irrespective of the absence of their left-wing, Daine Klate, who is out on injury. Meanwhile on the other side, the piano and the shoe-shine boys, will be going to the match with a new coach, Ian Gorowa after "Mr Various Line-Ups" left the team in past two weeks.

Despite this the Top four teams all have a chance of winning the league this year. Sundowns has faced a few problems with new coach Ian Gorowa at the chloorkop side after the resignation of Antonio Habas Lopez resigning from the club because of death threats from 'Downs fans.

The Bucaneers are on top of their game at the moment going on eleven games unbeaten run and Pirates is the more eager to win the league displaying brilliant football from players such as Manyisa and Chansa in the midfield.

The Brazilians will be looking on Pelembe and Mokoena to go through pirates defence. Downs will be missing Mphela after he went awol. They will be looking on Khenyeza to bang in the goals for them. Tonights match is going to be a craker
